Fernando initiated his culinary path in 1986, which took him to work in the kitchen alongside with some celebrity Chefs, such as Gato Dumas and Francis Malmann, to continue after with his formation in Italy, France and Spain. Since 1997 que became a Newyorker and one of the best chefs in the city. This gave him the great opportunity of cooking for personalities like David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Claudia Schiffer, Jack Nicholson, Cindy Crawford and Calvin Klein, among others.

Three years ago he became owner of Industria Argentina restaurant in New York and a year ago he opened La Porteña in Guadalajara, Mexico. Apart from these two restaurants he is one of the owners of Porteño Sucre. Nowadays he works for a company that owns 12 Argentinian restaurants in London, but he resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he owns Restaurant-Bar Sucre in Bajo Belgrano area.

Fernando is still in contact with the culinary world of New York, which he visits at least every two months to asses a french style cuisine restaurant named Elysée, located in Soho. Down in Argentina he continues at the front of his restaurant and as cooking master.
