Yoji Tokuyoshi

Yoji Tokuyoshi was born in Tottori, Japan from four-generations of pharmacists .His twin brothers are pharmacists, as well as his sister.
The first member of his family to enter the kitchen professionally, Yoji cooks and creates artful scenographies thanks to a stunning sense of aestetics which is defined by the fusion of his classic Japanese roots and his love for Italian culture. Once a decent basketball player, his great concentration and determination along with his profound sensibility eventually turned him into sous chef at Osteria Francescana. He has been working with Osteria Francescana since 2005. Idenità Golose awarded him sous-chef of the year in 2011. Yoji is one of the co-founders of The Postrivoro Gastronomic Project.
